Funky jewelry and great mixed media and college artwork.

Check out this 4x4 mixed media canvas is made with a hand painted wooden giraffes and layers of paint, paper, rhinestones and modeling paste. If you're one to decorate your apartment with a modern feel, this would be the way to go. Or! If you were like me and wanted to have a super trendy and non stereotypical baby nursury, this would be great wall art.

Like the artist comments, this image will jazz up any room. Bright colors and a fun theme to it. If you have a piano room, it just might be the perfect piece.

And who doesn't love Marlyn?

You get 2 pendents for the price of 2. Whoa baby! I love vintage! These would also be cook on your key chain.

Featured Etsy artist of the day is Witty Workshop.
Fan-flip'n-tastic work.
http://wittyworkshop.etsy.com

This postcard is absolutely adorable. This calls for a talented etsy artist alert!
The colors are beautiful and the photograph says it all for this piece. I also love love love weenie dogs, so this would be great piece of work to send to your friends in the mail. Tasteful!

This "I miss you card" can be perfect for that long distant relationship. With Valentine's day around the corner, this card says it all.

She also has a calendar, which blows mine right out of the water. Gee thanks. :)
Wonderful images and illustrations. If you love her prints but don't know which one to choose, go for the calendar.

And I love this print. I always say this to cute lil pups or kids. However don't say it in a store, people will think your a clepto.

Deabus Amor

Featured etsy artist of the day is in fact Deabus Amor!
http://deabusamor.etsy.com

A very cute little shop. It's a place where you can find fabulous things to wear and wonderful wall hangings.

I find for this piece to be the most talented work. It's great! Titled Watermellon Wally and the Terrible Accident. Kids, this is what happens when you don't wear a helmet. This piece has great colors and a wonderful energy to it and a touch of humor.

This next wall find is titled Winter Solace. I'm from Minnesota, so this is just all to familiar when it comes to winter. This is sometimes what my hair looks like in the winter. :) Great black and white photograph. Very sophisticated and it's a wonderful feature of forms that mother nature makes. Lovly.

And let's not forget the things you can wear in her shop.

Tis clay pendent is very intricate and detailed. It should be fun to see this etsy artist expand and grow more in her shop. Keep an eye out.

Sunshine Patchwork of Art!

Etsy artist of the day, Sunshine Patchwork.
http://sunshinepatchwork.etsy.com

A new favorite accessory of mine are felt pins. I love these handmade felt goods that are made by Sunshine Patchwork. This Sexy Seamstress Dress form Brooch is sooo adorable. Felt brooches are a great little number that can jazz up your winter coat.

This Happy Pear Felt ring is also another fav of mine. I love the touch of the orange button to sweeten it up.

And last but not least, the lovable Birds Eye View Brooch.
Again a hand stitched felt bird is always a great accessory. I also really love the contrasting colors of orange and blue. And the button which makes this little bird very wide eyed.

I'm so happy to have found this etsy shop, it's now a favorite.

Kreative Mindz

Feature of the day is Kreative Mindz. Very cool apparel.
http://kreativemindz.etsy.com

This Green and Blue flowered Goddess Hair wrap is may favorite head wrap and is also Kreative Mindz fav! These Goddess Hair wraps are titled that because of the way you feel when you wear one. Well of course. Head wraps are a great way to change up your routine hair do.

This Celtic Knot shirt is also really fantastic. I love how light and airy it looks and most likely feels. The mustard color is also a really popular and trendy color right now.

Another great item is the Phunky Purple Capris. Yes that's Phunky with a "PH". The pocket detail is really nice and the bright colors make if fun to run around in during the summer or wear to your yoga class.

Cryztalvisions

Today's etsy artist is Cryztalvisions.
http://cryztalvisions.etsy.com

Cryztalvisions creates really one-of-a kind and unique jewelry items. It was hard to pick my favorites.

To start with, these stunning earings are certainly eye catching. Beautiful Silver Circle Dragonfly Earrings with Iridescent Patina. This is also a limited edition item so don't let it pass you by.

Cryztalvisions images of her products are nothing but professional and charming.

This pendant was made of Simbircite from an ancient Ammonite shell. A part of septum is seen. This is a brand new creation featuring designer cut Simbircite wrapped in 14kt gold-filled wire. This piece is a one of a kind design!

This pendent also stuck out to me. This hand made silver pendant displays the beautiful design of a dragon fly with the perfect word placed beneath it. Believe.
Wouldn't that be so perfect dangling from your neck.

And for piece of mind.
What's with the "Z" in Cryztalvisions? You may ask. It's an homage to one of my wonderful teachers who pronounced crystals: "creezzztals"

Tiffany Teske

Absolutely talented etsy artist. Tiffany Teske.
http://tiffanyteske.etsy.com

Birds are very popular today. Tiffany's images are extremely moving and emotional works of art. Tiffany's work has a distinct look. It's very modern and dark, yet it has a reference to old world art. It's tasteful and classic.

I also really enjoy the nude figures she takes. The female body really is a true work of art to study and Tiffany captures it so well. Her images also remind me of the works of Peter Paul Rubens. I love this image with the fern down the back. The proximity of the two subjects allows you to connect that the two are one. The fern looks like her spine, as if you can see inside of her or see her skeletal structure. Very moving.

I also really appreciate this image of a woman laying in the grass. It really reminds me of the master piece of Millais's Ophilia.

And she also has great gift wrap! You can't go wrong with this shop when finding a gift this season. Great works of art and you can have it wrapped with thee most stylish wrapping paper. Great talent!

Personality indeed!

Featured etsy artist of the day is Adrinne N with Personality all in a boutique.
http://adriennen.etsy.com
If you need something personal done, this is the store.

This is a really fun tote bag. Pink and brown are sooo in!
This is a very durable and sturdy bag. Perfect for lugging all your must have items around with you.

This one of a kind beaded work is really impressive and stylish. The beads are handmade from an artist in Canada. Great gift idea.

And let's not forget about the cute lil baby stuff.

This is a burp cloth you can personalize for that lil new comer you have in the family. That way you'll know exactly who made the mess! :)
Oh babies...what a bundle of joy and spit.

Knuckletoes

Featured etsy artist today is Knuckletoes. http://knuckletoes.etsy.com
What an original name.

This bright paisley bag is one of my favorites in her purse/bag section. It consists of a long strap that allows you to drape it on one shoulder and sit under the opposite arm. Great on your back. Because if you're anything like me, you stuff your purse full!! Great bag for those summer hippie festivals!

Katie is the designer for Knuckletoes.
She's a smalltime, jewelry, clothing and purse maker who wants to share her style with the world! Well etsy is a great way to do that.
Katie is from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, and every year she tries to make it out to the surrounding Folk Festivals to sell her products.
Katie strives to make her clothing and purses out of recycled materials. Again Mother nature is stoked about this girl. Anything from tablecloths, to pillowcases, to reused LP record covers. This not only gives my items a vintage feel, but it helps the environment, and what more do you need?

And this adorable skirt is made out of a tablecloth. Sweet! I love the pocket.

And this item makes me wanna pee my pants. This greeting card is for all ya'll out there who have anger management probs. PMS apology cards. Need I say more?

2008 Calendar!

Well it's about flipp''n time! It took a few late nights and a couple of long hours, but I did it! Introducing my 2008 desktop calendar. It may be purchased at my etsy store. http://vanessakimball.etsy.com
